Dark Tower Confusion
...so, I get the little Michael Whelan email announcment in my in-box, and it says that Whelan is going to do the illustrations, and that "...It took almost 20 years for King to get to the fifth book, so many were fearful that he would never finish the epic. Stephen King promises that Volume 7 (simply called THE DARK TOWER) will be published in 2004."
Did I miss something, here? There's no volume 5 yet, or volume six. The most recent, Wizard & Glass, is four. Are they going to release five, six, and seven all at once or something? What is King up to?
