When I go see my new doctor in 2 mo. for my regular checkup/pap smear/etc. (since my insurance only covers 1 pap smear a calendar year and it has to be 12 months or more after the last one), I plan on talking to her about getting sleep testing, allergy testing, and some other stuff. The last nutritionist I went to see a year or two ago was...unhelpful.

I complained I ate too much and didn't know why and thought I had a problem and maybe a disorder that needed to be addressed, and she said that I was "smart" and could "read the calories on the back of the container" and that "we weren't living in the third world refugee camp and food wouldn't run out tomorrow." Utterly useless not to mention offensive. I mean, Camberville doesn't look like Somalia? Really? I hadn't *noticed,* and that must be the only reason why I was eating like I was starving even when I am overweight.
