I've heard some of the eggs can hatch to be male (apparently it's not pure parthenogenesis), so you could have one female produce males and females, and then those could interbreed. I'm curious if anyone has ever wrecked an ecology by importing one female komodo dragon on the grounds that it couldn't breed, and so won't spawn a horde of superpredators.
