I guess my reaction was more, "there are a zillion places which are not Boston, and are cheaper and greener than Boston-- why that one? Why move somewhere for a grad school program to which you have not yet been accepted?"

But I strongly agree that it makes sense for you to be somewhere where you can have that kind of relaxation and creativity.
