Wow, I slept basically a whole night! I had dreams! Way to go, brain! I am even not sleepy right now though the pain meds are making me kind of groggy.

Still in a lot of pain and worried about the other ear which feels a little clogged now, but am going to ENT tomorrow and maybe I can even learn what was in the blood cultures they did at the hospital. I would sure like to wash my hair, but even better would be to stop getting serious ear infections every 2 years or so. This is why I had to give up swimming regularly (sadly, as I love it).

I'm glad you're doing better and hope very much that it holds. This whole unfortunate medical saga has felt weirdly familiar; Nick used to get ear infections a few times a year, and they looked like a misery.
