Japanese Junk Food

Japanese Junk Food is addictive.

Today, my friends Lila, Irina, Ruth, Catherine, Alice, and myself went to Philadelphia's Chinatown. We take these trips on a semi-whim basis.
"Oh, hey, yeah. We're going to chinatown this weekend; do you want to come?"
That kind of thing.

And there's this store, you see.
It's a little grocery on the main street.
And there's these fruit jelly things that are completely addictive. The pear especially is wonderful. And then there's Pocky. Does more even need to be said?
Well, maybe. Pocky is this little breadstick with various kinds of chocolate or vanilla or strawberry covering it. (My favorite so far is pudding pocky). This thing is so popular that they even show anime characters eating it in manga and anime series, like they show people over here eating potato chips.
These snack foods are really good (try them!), but also terribly accictive. You've been warned.

Heh I've never tried Japanese candy before :P

My boss likes to go to exotic places and she brought us candy from Argentina last year. It was interesting stuff *grins* She got the factory made wrapped stuff. She said that was the "safe" candy. The stuff they sell on the streets is likely made with the local unfiltered water and is guarenteed to give you a good case of ass in space :P

That is one thing to consider when visiting another country, is making sure you buy food that is properly processed. It depends on the country too! *grins*
