I'm not sure whether that's a rhetorical question, but you're going to get a pointless comment in any event, because I'm actually feeling rather drained myself, at the moment.

In the short term, young people tend to live at a faster pace and stay up later -- yet need more sleep -- than those with a few more years on them, so we end up burned out. More generally, I suspect the tired feeling stems as much from constant pressure and worries about the future, which the frantic present never quite seems to address.

Things almost certainly will settle down, but it can often take a fair bit of time. In the meantime, I can sympathise with how you feel. I live much of my life at the moment operating on less than full capacity, because I'm often tired as soon as I wake. This has led to my putting off various bits and bobs I should have done some time ago, because I've never quite felt up to doing them.

I'm taking this weekend to recharge (and hopefully clear some of the aforementioned to-do list). Clearly, that isn't a complete solution, for me or you, but more R&R time never goes amiss. :)
