Thank you for reminding me of that, Wayman. I'd forgotten..which shows you really how important it is to me now. (Sometimes, I swear I'm turning old and even more bitter about the possibility of people. When I do that again please smack me, all of you).
I didn't really notice '05 or '04 frosh behaving in this way, no. Nor the class of '06. Frosh have liscence to run about the halls playing and laughing; it's nice to see them do that and perks us apathetic upperclassmen up. I played touch football on Denbigh 1st my freshman year with my customs people once at 11 pm and nearly got the football stuck in the light fixture.
I shouldn't overgeneralize, either: I don't hate the entire Freshman class. It saddens me that I haven't gotten to know more of them yet, really. But I can't say that I've gotten a good reception from very many of them yet, when I do try and get to know them.
Part of it may be the acoustics on my hall, where the loud noises funnel down to right outside the doors of our hall group.
